If you're not happy with the look of your teeth, Crawley Dental Clinic may have the solution. Usually made from porcelain or resin-composite materials, veneers are tooth-coloured, thin shells that are permanently attached to the tooth/teeth to enhance their appearance.

These simple systems can be used to overcome many cosmetic concerns, including discolouration, chips and cracks, and to enhance the size and symmetry of the teeth. With extensive preparation steps and exact measurements taken, we can ensure your veneers seamlessly cover the tooth and leave you with a new, beautiful smile.
THE PREPARATION:
Single veneers can be used however, our clients will usually opt for 6-8, to create an even smile. Typically, your dentist will grind down the existing tooth structure or remove part of this, to allow for secure placement. The preparation steps taken will all depend on your dental concerns and the number of veneers you require but will be discussed in detail at your consultation.
THE PROCESS:
Porcelain veneers: Once the teeth have been ground down, Crawley Dental Clinic will take an impression of your teeth to create a mould for the porcelain veneer. Once this has been made, we'll use cement to permanently place the veneer on top of the natural tooth.

Composite resin veneers: This technique involves our dentists first etching the surface of the natural tooth before applying a thin layer of composite material, which is cured under a specialist light. They'll then continue to build on the composite until the desired look is achieved. This is ideal for cracks and discolouration.
