PRINCIPAL DENTISTS
Matt Botha
BChD (Pret.), Diploma in Dent Implantology (Goethe)

Matt qualified in 1991 at the University of Pretoria, in South Africa. After working as an associate in Danbury, Essex, he took over ownership of Crawley Dental Clinic in 1997.
Matt treats both NHS and private patients. He provides a Minor Oral Surgery service to the Surrey and Sussex Area Team, NHS England, for other dental practices in the area. He has a keen interest in dental implants.
He holds a postgraduate certificate in Advanced Surgical and Prosthodontic Implantology from the Bicon Institute for Implantology in Boston, USA and a Postgraduate Diploma in Dental Implantology from the Goethe University, Frankfurt am Main, Germany, where he studied under the world-renowned lecturer in Implantology, Dr Howard Gluckman.
He is currently a dental adviser to the Surrey and Sussex Area Team, NHS England and member and treasurer of the Local Dental Committee.
Harshil Patel

After completing a Bachelor of Science degree in London, Harshil went on to study dentistry and completed his foundation training under the Kent, Surrey and Sussex Deanery.
Harshil is interested in all fields of dentistry with a particular interest in cosmetic dentistry. He is known to be a very welcoming and calming dentist, who sees patients both on the NHS and
privately.

George Mavridis

George Mavridis qualified at the University of Thessaloniki in 2006, the same year he joined the Greek army where he served as a dentist before he moved to Norfolk. In Norfolk, he worked for four years in a busy dental practice.
During that time, he completed many courses in cosmetic and restorative dentistry and holds a postgraduate certificate in Implantology. George will see both NHS and private patients. George joined Crawley Dental Clinic in 2011.
Rikul Patel

Rikul qualified from Cardiff University in 2017. He has since been working in London, completing his foundation year under the Northeast London Scheme.
He enjoys all aspects of dentistry and loves getting to know his patients on a personal level, while being determined to provide high quality aesthetic work.
Outside the clinic, he enjoys running and keeping fit as well as travelling whenever the opportunity presents itself.

Ioanna Anastasiadou

Ioanna graduated from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece, in 2007. In October 2008 she moved to the UK, where she started working in the NHS in various dental practices.
Since 2019 she has been attending a speciality course, training in Clinical Dentistry (DClinDent) in Periodontology at the Royal London Hospital, including the Implantology module.
Ioanna joined Crawley Dental Clinic in 2020 and is offering speciality treatment for periodontal cases privately. The range of treatment she provides is for non-surgical and surgical periodontal cases, bone and gingival regeneration, aesthetic cases, and dental implants.
Additionally, Ioanna holds an Enhanced Dental Practitioner position within the Surrey and Sussex Area Team, NHS England, accepting referrals from other dental practices to treat patients needing complex restorative treatment.

Sophie Carter

Sophie qualified as a Dental Hygienist in 1982 at the Royal Dental Hospital in London. She has been part of the team at Crawley Dental Clinic since September 2000.
Her particular strength is in making her patients feel at ease during treatment and happy to return on a regular basis.
Ana Diaz

Ana completed her dental degree in 2010 in Madrid, Spain. She joined our team in 2020 to ensure our patients obtain the right foundation for good oral health and help them to maintain a long lasting, clean smile.

Nigel Boult

Nigel qualified as a dental technician in 1986 and set up his dental laboratory in 1990. He went on to qualify as one of the first Clinical Dental Technicians in the UK to register with the General Dental Council in 2000.
Nigel joined the team as a clinician in 2023, and manufactures and fits all dentures within his laboratory, providing you with a made-to-measure denture.
Nigel can provide both NHS and private dentures.
