Dentures are removable artificial teeth and gums created to replace natural teeth that have been lost or removed. Completely custom to the patient, we offer both full and partial dentures, meaning they can either replace all the teeth or just a few that are missing on the top or bottom gum line. While dental bridges literally bridge the gaps created by one or more missing teeth, dentures can be used for the full mouth.
When there are gaps left by missing teeth, the surrounding teeth rotate or shift into the empty spaces resulting in a bad bite or gum diseases caused due to the imbalance. Dentures can prevent this from happening, whilst offering a practical solution that completes your smile.
A LOW-MAINTENANCE SOLUTION
In order to keep your dentures in the very best condition, we recommend frequent cleaning, just as you would your natural teeth and gums. Dentures can be cleaned whilst either inside or outside the mouth, making rinsing after food extremely easy. To prevent soreness, they can also be removed at night. Your dentist will show you the best ways to do this, so you're ready to go!
